During the past 3 years, the Murcia region of Spain has undergone significant economical growth, and with it Murcia has turned into an attractive Golf Destination. With the number of Golf Courses and Resorts in the region growing annually the Murcia Golf Association (MGA) was established to unite all the Golf courses under a common objective, to gain international recognition for Murcia.
The MGA was officially launched during the PGA of Europe Annual Congress in December 2007. The Annual Congress, which has now been held in Murcia for the last 2 years, attracted PGA representatives from 27 countries. This allowed the current President of the MGA, Mr Bruno Dureux to formally present the aims and ambitions of the new association to a global audience.

The key aim of the MGA is to promote the region of Murcia through the game of Golf and to establish Murcia as a modern Golf destination based on its quality and accessibility for the modern golfer.
UK regional airports offer flights to Murcia San Javier Airport on a daily basis and on arrival, visitors will find a new motorway network linking Golf Courses and Resorts, all within 30 minutes of the airport.
The quality of the Golf courses ensures that golfers return to Murcia on a regular basis and with modern high tech academy facilities, players at all levels of the game both amateur and professional golfers, can develop all aspects of their skills 365 days a year.
