Course as always in good condition, though I thought the greens were on a little on the slow side. In the past El Valle has always had fast, tricky greens. If you can get a score going through the first 5 holes or so you can be on for a great round. The back nine is much easier and shorter. I shot 3 over gross on the back nine and lost all of these shots on the par 5 16th ;(
Clubhouse is always great for a beer and food afterwards overlooking the 18th Green.
CM Comment: There was a storm the first week in October 2014 which affected several courses and the heavy rain washed sand out the bunkers onto the Fairways and Greens. Signage alerted players to any problems. No holes were closed as a result but La Torre had 2 holes closed and Saurines de la Torre had 4 holes closed, all due to the bad weather that week. *Remember you can book through us for a discount :-)
Editor: Fairway Grass types remain dormant and brown in colour at this time of year. Turning green through March and April as the sun increases.
