2015-2016 Football Season - Starts at La Manga Club


• The resort will host five international teams during the month of July.

• The Granada CF, again staying at the resort to prepare your season for the seventh consecutive year.

La Manga Club, June 30, 2015 - Like every summer at this time, La Manga Club starts preparing to host national and international teams seeking the facilities and experience of the resort to celebrate their summer internships.

The Professional Football Centre, will host the Scottish team Hibernian Football Club and the Queen of the South Football Club between 5 and 12 July along with Wigan Athletic Football Club.

At 5pm on July 11 there will be a friendly match between Hibernian FC and Wigan Athletic FC at the Football Centre.

From 20 to 26 July, the resort will feature AFC Wimbledon Football Club, it's the second time they have chosen La Manga Club as a destination to prepare the new season.

Sharing facilities for a few days with the English team are football players from Mas Club, who arrive from 23 July to 3 August. This is the Moroccan teams first visit to the resort facilities to play friendly matches with local teams.

One of the regular teams every summer is Granada FC returning for the seventh consecutive year the resort. The preparation this year is scheduled between 20 to 30 July, the same dates as Granada B FC.

The Granada will play a friendly match against AFC Wimbledon on 24 July.

Between 27 and 31 July, the Football Centre will (for the second time) host the FCB Escola Camp, a summer camp for children between 7 and 17 years from FC Barcelona.

The Centre for Professional Football La Manga Club has been for more than a decade the destination of preference for all teams inside and outside our borders who seek a professional environment and optimal conditions to prepare players and technical teams.

Conscious of what this means, the resort continues to improve their facilities each year for these athletes find everything they need in this oasis bathed in the Mediterranean and as in many cases, make La Manga Club launching pad.
